The Physical Therapy Department of the Stanley Steyer School of Health Sciences
promotes the
integration of clinical and basic research with community outreach programs and
the interaction with
medical and academic institutions in Israel and abroad.
The department owes its reputation to it high academic standards in teaching
and rehabilitation
research in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Our research laboratories are equipped with the latest research technologies in
rehabilitation and
physical therapy sciences.
At present, research is being carried out in four different laboratories:
- Pain laboratory
- Force Measurement and Clinical Assessment laboratory
- Muscle Biology laboratory
- Movement Sciences laboratory
Our department comprises a team of staff members, experts in their respective
fields of research,
which publish their work in peer-reviewed world-recognized journals.
Students from all corners of the country benefit from training and teaching
programs that include different areas of clinical interest, and guided
practicum in hospitals and clinics.
